A former underground Au-Cu-Ag mine located NW of Congress Junction, about ½ mile West of the Congress Mine, on the SW margin of the Date Creek Mountains. This mine was started in the 1890's. Owned by T. Carrigan & Associates; and, Herskowitz family (1910- ). Claims extend into the N½N½ of sec. 22.

Mineralization is a vein with a lenticular ore body hosted in granite that strikes westward and dips 35º to 40ºN. Oreshoots are flat lenses about 3 feet (1 meter) thick. Filling is mainly massive, locally shattered white quartz. Ore control was faulting, shearing and igneous activity. Concentration was oxidation at near surface. No alteration noted.

Workings include a 950 foot deep inclined shaft with 9 levels, each 100 feet East & West of the shaft,
