The village of Mihalkovo (Smolyan District) is located in South-Central Bulgaria and is part of the municipality of Devin. It is located in the Rhodopes mountains, 21 km northeast from the town of Devin and 76 km from the district center town of Smolyan. The village is popular for its mineral water spring (2 km from the village) whose water is naturally aerated. It is used (by drinking) for the treatment of chronic diseases of the gums, abdominal ulcers, chronic gastritis, cardio-vascular diseases, etc. The Mihalkovo bottled mineral water is popular in the country.
1 km from the village of Mihalkovo is the dam lake of Vacha.
