Nanlishu fluorite has had an annual output of nearly 10,000 tons since its discovery and mining in 1987. The parallel, vein-type, and lens-type ore bodies are controlled by the faults. The top of the ore bodies is tuff, which partially surrounds the ore bodies, while the bottom of the ore bodies is mainly quartz syenite porphyry. Other ore bodies are hosted in the interlayer fracture belt in limestone and argillaceous limestone. Tuff in direct contact with the ore bodies underwent silicification and pyritization.
