Structure: A Post-Ore Warrior Fault.
Alteration: Intense Bleaching And Argillization Of Volcanics
Deposit: Gold-bearing vein-like quartz stringers in shear zone.
Deposit type: Epithermal vein, Comstock
Development: It was discovered about 1912 by a prospector grubstaked by mr. Millett, a storekeeper at manhattan. It became a major mine in the district when olympic mines co. Acquired it in 1921 and organized the warrior gold mining co. It was then acquired by the alladin-divide mining co. Which sank a NE W shaft500 ft west of the old 200-ft shaft, to a depth of 110 ft. The property was abandoned in 1940. Worked intermittently until 1946. Active drill rig just south of the mine when examined in 1986.
