C. 3 km south of Luban, occurrence comprises nephelinite flows extending over c. 1.5 x 1.5 km. An active quarry and drilling indicate the presence of 3 nephelinite flows separated by pyroclastic layers (Kozłowska-Koch 1981).
The Księginki nephelinite quarry is one of the biggest and well-known 'basalt' quarries in entire Silesia.
