Heia, Sagelvvatnet, Balsfjord, Troms og Finnmark, Norge
The first recorded locality for the rock, Sagvandite, a carbonate-orthopyroxenite (magnesite-orthopyroxenite). The locality is an area called Heia between the two lakes (at the water shed) Sagelvvatnet and Takvannet (ca. 14 km from Storsteinnes), in two small domes of only 50 - 100 meters (Barth 1927, pp. 271-272). The main dome is located close to the small lake Kvilarvatnet.
