According to the Mines Register of 1920 (Weed, 1920):
Four claims, 156.64 acres in all, at the east side of Allie Island, about 15 miles from Kenora.
Geology: claims cover an outcrop of serpentinite, or chlorite-schist, carrying small pellets or crystals of native copper. Country rock is dolomite, altered trap and greenstones. Orebody claimed to be 1/2 mile long, with a maximum width of 700'.
Development: is surficial only, 40 and 20' pit holes, showing ore in bottom. Ore said to average 1 1/2% copper. Owners planned development work at last account.
