This mine is located 2 kilometres north-east of the Southern Cross bore and is on mining lease ML 335H. The deposits comprises shallow dipping fractures in massive quartz, and marble, containing quartz veins and stringers, with bornite, malachite, abundant siderite, and a small unit of chalcocite.
Irregular quartz stockworks are common in the marble in a zone 12 metres wide by 90 metres long. Dips east. The veins are cut by steep dipping cross-faults. In 1964, an open cut was dug into the hill, 30 metres long, 3-6 metres wide, 9 metres deep.
