Bracchiello is a frazione of the municipality of Ceres, located halfway between the municipality and Ala di Stura. It was named in ancient documents - from the fourteenth century onwards - as Bracello according to what is reported in the ancient parchments and as they still say today in the current dialect: Bracèl. Bracchiello is one of the villages in the Valli di Lanzo that has best preserved its ancient appearance.
