An open pit Antimony mine.
The mine works a number of steeply dipping stibnite ore bodies.
The ore generally has a low arsenic content, that makes it different from many of the other deposits in Vietnam.
Operated by Vietnamese company HGM - Ha Giang Mineral Mechanics JLC.
The smelter for the mine is located approximately 1km south-west at the village of Mau Due.
