Elevation: 788 m. asl.
Well rounded clasts of quartz, mainly belonging to Pirgua formation conglomerates; the largest reach 25 cm. Diameter and about these are sandstone gravel red and pink, which lose their conglomeratic character up. In general, it's friable calcareous sandstones, although some isolated banks highly consolidated are present stratification little marked on banks of more than one meter of thickness, dentor which crisscross lamination is observed. Thicknesses of 250 metres, which is the maximum of the area have been recorded in the Quebrada de Rosayaco (Eastern foothills of the Sierra del Campo), and southward it decreases rapidly, and in River Rancho, for example, reaches only 30 metres. More South disappears completely to appear again in the Sierra of the Ramada.
