Phosphate-rich ore beds with dispersed uranium mineralization, hosted in chert and carbonacous shales of the Lower Cambrian Jiumenchong and Niutitang formations. The shales also contain nickel, molybdenum and vanadium minerals.
The deposit includes several ore blocks.
