An iron mine.
1837 to 1845: mine was in operation. Ore from the mine was brought to Madoc, where it was smelted in a blast furnace by Messrs. Seymour and Co. A GSC publication from 1866 reports that 400 tons of ore were removed.
In 1900, 115 tons were shipped.
