Phnum Yat hill
Phnum Yat "hill" is considered to be a remnant volcanic cone.
"An interesting aspect is that gem mining was never allowed on Phnum Yat as it is seen as a sacred hill. Nevertheless after the rain people can walk on the Phnum Yat hill and collect on the ground (without digging) rubies and sapphires." (Pardieu, 2009)
