A former small open pit.
Limited historic information found on the mine, all in the 1930's. The mine was said to be phenomenally rich from 1933-1935 when it produced 472 tonnes of ore for 1,015 fine oz of gold. The mine at this time was owned by Slavin, Jewell and Miller.
The Black Cat mine was immediately to its south, and the Broken Bond mine to the north.
Mining Flotations Limted took a working option over the mine in 1938. Western Queen (1936) NL took a working option over the mine in 1939 for development work and test drilling.
