A group of U-Cu claims located in secs. 9, 15, 24, T13S, R18E, and sec. 27, T13S, R17E (?), 8½ miles S of Redington. Owned by R.M. Vanover (1954). Ritter and Wright Mining Contractors (Mr. Warren Wright) had unknown involvement here (1979). NOTE: Alternate coordinates provided: 32.2767N, 110.5944W.
Mineralization is disseminated, lenticular ore bodies. Ore control was fractures in quartzite; limestone beds. The ore body is 109.73 meters long and 1.22 meters wide and strikes N50W and dips 57NE. Radioactivity: background 0.02 MR/hr, Max 4.2 MR/hr.
Workings included a shaft and several trenches and pits to a maximum depth of 7.62 meters.
