About Unnamed (Fe-analogue of Argentotennantite-(Zn))
Formula:
Ag6(Cu4Fe2)As4S12S
Member of:
Fe-analogue of argentotennantite-(Zn).
As-analogue of argentotetrahedrite-(Fe).
Closely related to kenoargentotennantite-(Fe).
NOTE: If analytical data in publications on Ag-rich As-dominant fahlore are re-evaluated, it will be found that probably many references describe this mineral under a different name.
The most Ag-rich grain reported by Kolitsch et al. (2019) (as "argentotennantite" because the IMA list of minerals at that time had a Fe-dominant formula) has the composition (Ag3.36Cu2.64)[Cu4(Fe1.61Zn0.39)](As,Sb)4S13.
