THICKNESS: From 900 m thick basal unit, within 1700 m thick section AGE: Eptachorion Fm is Late Rupelian to Early Chattian based on planktonic foraminfera, corresponding to biozones P20-P21 (Barbieri 1992) and to NP 24 (Zygojanni and Müller, 1982) based on nannoplankton.
