(2012) | Madre de Dios - Acre Conglomerate | Although no stratigraphic data are available for these localities, the fact that sites VF2, VF3, and VF56 were collected in November and January (as per specimen labels; Willard, 1966), during the rainy season in that part of Amazonia, precludes the possibility that the fossils came from riverine lag deposits exposed only during the dry season.
