About R chondrite meteorite
A chondrite, different from ordinary chondrite in having a more dusty matrix (about 50% of the rock), more oxidized, containing little metallic Fe-Ni and with a higher 17O ratio. Most of the metal is in the form of sulfides. They appear to come from an asteroid regolith.
