Comments:Very fine-grained kyanite and muscovite pseudomorphing andalusite crystals to 9 cm. Found in a glacially transported rock near State Routes 8 and 63 (Interchange 26), the in-situ source rock is unknown. These pseudomorphs are rare and unusual, E. S. Dana reported similar pseudomorphs at the kyanite locality in Washington, Connecticut (aka, Judd's Bridge).
