A former lode Cu-Au-Pb-Ag mine located in sec. 27, T1N, R14E, MDM, 0.6 km (1,900 feet) WSW of Stent (between Golden Rule Mountain and Quartz Hill), on private land. This property had holdings of 31.21 acres on 3 patented claims. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in slate and serpentinite. The hanging wall is slate and the footwall is serpentine. Local rocks include Jurassic marine rocks, unit 1 (Western Sierra Nevada and Western Klamath Mountains).
Workings include underground openings. Until 1896 development was superficial. In 1923 a 92 foot deep shaft with some crosscuts was sunk. It is unknown if the vein had been intersected. The Cloudman claim appears to have been left undeveloped.
