A former Au occurrence/mine located in the E½NW¼ sec. 31, T20N, R12E, MDM, 0.9 km (0.6 mile) SW of Loganville and about 1¾ miles WSW of Sierra City, along the E canyon wall of Keystone Ravine, on National Forest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in slate. Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 4 (Western Sierra Nevada).
Workings include underground openings comprised of 2 adits.
