A former lode Au occurrence/mine located in the E½NW¼ (estimated) sec. 31, T20N, R12E, MDM, 1.2 km (0.7 mile) S of Loganville, along the upper E canyon wall of Keystone Ravine, S of the North Yuba River (1¾ miles WSW of Sierra City), on National Forest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in slate. Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 4 (Western Sierra Nevada).
Workings include underground openings comprised of 2 adits.
