A former lode Au mine located in sec. 10, T32N, R6W, MDM (coordinates estimated; section projected) 1.3 km (4,200 feet) SSW of South Fork Mountain (coordinates of record), on National Park Service land (Whiskeytown-Shasta-Trinity National Recreation Area), in the headwaters area of White Rock Gulch. Property is comprised of 3 unpatented claims. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in meta-rhyolite. Controls for ore emplacement included a shear zone 45 feet wide. There are several veins a few inches to 3 feet thick. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 4 (Klamath Mountains and Northern Sierra Nevada).
Workings include underground openings comprised of a 145 foot adit.
