A former Au mine located in secs. 19 & 20, T32N, R5W, MDM (coordinates estimated) 1.3 km (4,200 feet) SW of Keswick, along Rock Creek. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
A short ore shoot has free gold near surface and sulphide ore at depth. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 4 (Klamath Mountains and Northern Sierra Nevada).
Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of a 300 foot adit, a 100 foot drift and several shallow shafts and cuts.
