A former lode Au occurrence/mine located in the SE¼SE¼ sec. 13, T6N, R16E, SBM, 5.6 km (3.5 miles) WSW of Mercury Mountain (coordinates of record) and 7.4 km (4.6 miles) NW of Carbonate Peak (4.5 miles ESE of Danby). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in granodiorite and gneiss. The ore body is 0.61 meter thick. The vein is brecciated and iron-stained at 18 to 24 inches (45 to 60 cm) thick. Local rocks include Quaternary alluvium and marine deposits.
Workings include underground openings comprised of a shaft.
