A former Au occurrence/mine located in the NW¼NE¼NE¼ sec. 13, T12N, R1E, SBM, 0.8 km (0.5 miles) SW of Paradise Springs (coordinates of record) (7 miles NE of the summit of Lane Mountain). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in diorite. The ore body strikes S65W and dips 70S at a thickness of 0.91 meter. The vein is 3 feet thick. Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 2 (Northern Mojave Desert and Southeastern Sierra Nevada).
Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of shallow incline and pits.
