A former lode Au occurrence/mine located in the SE¼ (estimated) sec. 12, T13N, R9E, MDM, about 8.2 km NE of Grizzly Bear House and 5.6 km WSW of Todd Valley (7 miles SW of Forest Hill). Owned by Patrick McInnis (1935). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit (?) hosted in porphyry. The ore body is 15.24 meters thick. The Au was found along the footwall of a 50 foot thick porphyry dike. Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 2 (Western Sierra Foothills and Western Klamath Mountains).
Workings include unspecified underground openings.
