A former W mine located in the SW¼ sec. 3, and in sec. 10, T14S, R26E, MDM, 1.3 km (4,300 feet) WSW of Dunlap, on National Forest land. Operated in 1942. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in schist. The deposit is comprised of 2 layers of tactite about 4 feet wide, exposed for lenghts of 20 and 130 feet. Local rocks include pre-Cenozoic metasedimentary and metavolcanic rocks undivided.
Workings include surface openings comprised of shallow trenches.
