A former lode Au mine located in sec. 21, T4N, R14E, MDM, 0.4 km (0.2 mile) NNW of Indian Creek (town), on the divide between Indian Creek (stream) and San Domingo Creek (3 miles NNE of Murphys). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit. Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 4 (Western Sierra Nevada).
