A small former underground Cu-Au mine located in sec. 32, T6N, R20W, on SE Moon Mountain or SE of it, 22 miles SW of Bouse, on BLM-administered land. NOTE: Alternate coordinates provided: 33.7333N, 114.3583W.
Mineralization is a vein deposit along a shear zone in schists that is 1.22 meters wide, strikes E-W and dips N. The ore bodies are irregular.
Workings include an inclined shaft varying in dip from horizontal to 35 degrees. The workings total 121.92 meters in length and 274.32 meters in depth. The ore is reported to contain 10% Cu, and $1.50 in Au per ton (timeframe unreported).
