The NGU has an apatite occurrence registered as "Ekksjø", close to the lake by that name.
NGU Forekomstområde 912 - 303, gives the coordinates: 58.7506860,8.9700710
The previously used name "Store Ekksjø/Store Ekesjø" cannot be found on modern maps, only Eksjø.
At the given coordinates there might have been some mining activity, but both altitude map and aerial pictures are inconclusive.
However, nearby are two quarries that could be the chlorapatite locality.
