Deposit: The plum creek fault zone lies just north of the quarry. Two sets of vertical joints are present; N 77 w, and N 35 e. Cadastral location: NE 1/4 sec. 15, t. 82 n., r. 6 w. ; info.src : cobb

Geology: Mineralization was confined to solution enlarged vertical fissures and cavities in wall rock - late silurian dolomite (scotch grove and gower formations); colloform banded sphalerite, marcasite, and orange calcite of typical upper mississippi valley district habit are abundant. Fluid inclusions indicate a temperature range of 69-99 c.
