Deposit: The mine workings, explore two steep normal faults in the silicified limestone, cinnabar occurs in fault gouge and fills cracks and fissures in the locally silicified limestone. Cinnabar occurs in fault gouge and fills cracks and fissures in the locally silicified limestone.
Development: Development work during the fall of 1942 yielded some ore.
Geology: The country rocks are red and brown sandstone and conglomerate, overlain by a fine-grained, partly silicified white limestone of the dunlap formation
