Structure: Thrust Faults
Deposit: Ore is streaks of arsenopyrite associated with alaskite and quartz bodies usually parallel to the bedding of the limestone, especially in the hanging wall of quartz lenses; or As seams between laminae of the sedimentary rock
Development: Ore was treated in chiatovich's mill at silver peak and the tailings were chlorinated. Atortuous, 240-ft. Tunnel was run in 1903 by tonopah interests, but did not intersect ore.
Geology: Arsenopyrite replaces both limestone and alaskite in places. Arsenopyrite was deposited in fractures in the quartz, which fractured better under stress than did the enclosing limestone schist. Ore deposition by rising solutions is indicated.
Ore(s): Bedding Planes, Fractures
