The Camel Hump prospect is located 143.8 kilometres northeast of Nullagine.
Malachite is noted here in blebs and small pods in cleaved felsic tuffs of the Jeerinah Formation.
In their the maiden drilling program (2021) at the Camel Hump Prospect, Rumble Resources discovered wide zones (up to 40 metres wide) of near surface copper interpreted to be VMS mineralisation. The drilling program discovered significant near surface copper (visual – oxide copper) in six holes. Stringer style malachite, azurite, chalcocite and native copper have been observed over widths up to 40 metres (drill hole length intersection) associated with intermediate volcaniclastics (siltstone) within andesite. At the base of the siltstone is manganiferous silic altered (sulphidic if fresh) black shale.
Details for this location are also taken from its entry (site code S0026217) in the Western Australian Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety's online database (MINEDEX) of mines, mineral deposits and prospects.
