According to Dines this worked extensions of the Sigford Consols lode(s) on the western side of the River Lemon. The grid reference is for a chimney marked on the 1905 1:2500 Ordnance Survey map which corresponds very closely to the 1 mile from Ilsington indicated by Dines.
