A former small Cu-Ag-Au-Pb-Zn mine located in the NE ¼ sec. 21, T.20S., R.7E., 14 miles NW of Sasabe. Owned by Mr. Filiberto Verduzco, operated by Hickey; Siebert; and, Chaves (1937 - ?).
Mineralization is scattered bunches of oxidized pyrite and base metal sulfides in weathered, coarse-grained quartz and calcite along fault fissures in partly metamorphosed Cretaceous sediments (conglomerate, graywacke, shale, arkose, andesite flows, breccias, and rhyolite tuff) cut by intrusive dikes.
Workings include shallow openings. Produced some 200 tons of ore averaging about 2.5% Cu, 0.04 oz. Au/T and 6.5 oz. Ag/T, that was shipped in 1936-1937.
