A former small surface and underground Cu-Ag-Au mine located in the NE¼NE¼NE¼ sec. 19, T.14S., R.13E. (Cat Mountain 7.5 minute topo map), on land of unknown status. Owned at times, or in part, by the Old Pueblo Mining & Milling Co.; the Tucson Consolidated Copper Co.; and McFarland & Hullinger.

Mineralization is a vein deposit with pockets of copper silicates and chalcocite in banded, drusy, lensing quartz veins cutting slightly altered Cretaceous Shorts Ranch Andesite (host rock unit). The ore zone is 55 meters long and 430 meters wide (sic), strikes NNE and dips vertically. Alteration includes sericitization; argillitic.

The area with conspicuous Cu silicates extends mostly south and southwest of the Old Pueblo Mine shaft. Chalcocite is found only in mined out open cuts where Cu silicates are particularly abundant. The adit is 230 meters SW of the shaft. Argillization occurs locally throughout the area. The Cu minerals are associated with quartz veinlets with some limonite.

Workings include a 517 foot (157.58 meter) deep shaft, an adit and several open cuts. Sporadic production occurred in 1907-1909 and 1936, totaling some 67 tons averaging about 5% Cu, 1.2 oz. Ag/T and 0.04 oz. Au/T. In 1969-1970, the production was included with the production from the Battle Axe Mine.
