A surface Cu-Fe mine/prospect comprised of several claims located in sec. 25, T1N, R16W, south of the road between the Cemitosa tanks and Alamo Spring, about 5 miles E of Ocotillo, on federal land. Located in the Alamo region.
Mineralization is a replacement deposit with an irregular ore body(ies) and has produced small seams and replacements of the sheared granite by oxidized copper minerals and disseminated magnetite, but the copper content is low.
Geology is sheared and altered granite apparently along the same shear zone as the Alamo group. Along this zone, the feldspar of the granite is, in places, completely sericitized and the mafic minerals are altered to chlorite and epidote.
