Köppen climate type:
The occurrence is NE of Zhukey Lake. It is presented by small lens-like bodies of ultrabasic rocks among the Precumbrian quartzites, amphibolites, amphibole schists and porphyroids. Intrusive bodies are composed of apoperidotite serpentinites, rarely altered gabbro, epidote-garnet-pyroxene-amphibole and epidote-garnet-amphibole metasomatites.
Diamond grains are mostly presented as fragments of various shapes (isometric, irregular, elongated, flattened) with sharp tops and conchoidal lustrous surfaces without traces of abrasion.
In 1991 during the research in total 500 grains were recovered from 0.05 to 0.15 mm in size, they were mainly colourless, transparent with cathodoluminescence and bright glow.
