In Izbicko, traces of metallurgy from the Bronze and Iron Age (1000-500 years before Christ) were recorded and described. They were associated with the surrounding extraction of bog iron ore. The deposits were exhausted at the end of the 19th century. At the beginning of the 20th century, there were also two small limestone quarries openings here
In the nineteenth century, light purple quartz crystals in shell limestone (Muschelkalk) were found.
