Obsidian outcrop (Note: Outcrop is on private land and owners permission is required before entry).
"The airstrip section is a small, downfaulted scarp c. 400 m south of the roadcut, exposing a further 10-15 m of the flow stratigraphy. Small pockets of finely vesicular pumice are exposed between near-vertical obsidian ridges, and both units are interpreted as being part of the flow carapace." (Stevenson, 1994)
