Structure: Gentle Westward Dip Of About 10 Ft/Mi Or Less

Tectonics: Interior Basin; Deltaic Red Bed Margin, Possible Sabkha Deposits

Commodity: These samples were taken from greenish-gray shales that crop out over 40 acres or more in the n W of sec. 13.

Deposit: Four greenish-gray shales, 0.5-1 ft thick, about 2-10 ft below the marty bed, or 33-41 ft below the haystack gypsum, crop out over 40 acres or more. Outcrop johnson (april 1962) has record.

Geology: Host rock unit is flowerpot shale, 2-10 ft below marty dolomite. The marty dolomite is about 5 inches thick, about 31 ft below the haystack gypsum and 22.5 ft above the chaney gypsum. Four grenish-gray shales, about 0.5-1 ft thick, occur 2-10 ft below the marty, and contain 1700-2900 ppm cu. About 40 acres of outcrops were examined in the nw-13-2n-22w. Copley (1961, p. 89-90) has a measured section here and geology.; hr.age.mv: guadalupian
