Commodity: This malachite is widespread over many square miles.
Deposit: These beds extend over 25 sq mi or more, with copper being sporadic. For ore body 2, the thickness is 0.25 ft at base of 1.75 ft bed. Fay (1962, p. 34, 201, measured sec. 9) and fay (1964, p. 32-33, 95, 214-215, measured sec. 24) are first references. Fay (june 3, 1972) collected sample 44 from 0.25-ft cedar springs dol. Malachite also occurs in magpie dol. These are about 0.75 mi w. Of cheyenne butte in blaine fm.
Development: These beds occur over many square miles.
