Two minor copper prospects, one 3 kilometres south south-east of the Glen Helen pastoral station homestead, and the other 11 kilometres south-east of the homestead. This is not the same location as the Glen Helen Resort which is about 70 kilometres to the south-east. The prospects are west of Mt Zeil, and east of Dashwood Creek. Mindat map is of the first prospect, and very approximate. No surface evidence of the prospects could be seen.
Both are hosted by quartz-epidote veins, with minor chalcopyrite. Malachite stains quartz and quartz-sericite schist wall rock in the first deposit, and mica gneiss wall rock in the second. Shallow pits are said to exist at the prospects according to the 1974 source (Warren et al. Summary Information on the Mineral Deposits of the Arunta Complex, 1974). It is doubtful the deposits have been visited since.
