After much searching, Giants Reef Mining Limited, was able to locate these minor historic diggings, about 6 kilometres north of Tennant Creek, and one kilometre north of the Mary Ann Dam. The company held an exploration licence over the area from 1999 to 2003, but found only very low gold, copper and bismuth values.
The old diggings are on an ironstone outcrop on the northern edge of the Mary Lane Shear. No historic information was found.
