Zeolites were found in vesicular Eocene andesite along Weyerhaeuser Road 4671 on Signal Peak, north of the Toutle River, southeast of the town of Toutle, Cowlitz County, Washington. Unusual blades of calcite with pointed blades of stilbite were found only by John Cowles (cowlesite) in 1962. The site is now overgrown and no trace of rock is now exposed. Rudy Tschernich
