Rotemo gullforekomst, Valle, Agder, Norge
A gold/copper occurrence discovered in 2000 by geologist David Ettner of Valley Metals Explorations AS (Sola, Rogaland) in a roadcut near Rotemo in the Valle municipality. Agder Brønn- og spesialboring AS drilled an unspified number of meters of core drills, and the newspaper article mentioned under the references wrote that the samples were promising. The samples were analyzed in Canada, and a total of NOK 3.000.000 were used in this project, that seemingly did not result in good enough results in order to start mining for gold. Valley Metals Exploration AS was liquidated in 2006.
